Defense to Survive

From looking at this list of events you can see that we humans are facing a troubled future. These troubles have already started, and we will never go back to “the good ole days”. There is much turmoil and change ahead.

But there is good news along with the bad. You have read the bad. Now we give you the good.

There is a way to survive through all this, and not only survive, but come out of it as victor. God has made provision for any person who will do what He tells us to do. And this provision involves Jesus Christ.

The Bible teaches that if we become the children of God (through His Son, Jesus Christ) we will end up with Him in Heaven, His Home. John 14: 2-3 And at a certain point in the coming world events, God will gather all His children up and take them out of here (that’s #7 above).

So, you can be assured that when God blows the trumpet you can go up into heaven to be with Him. But this is conditioned on whether or not you are a child of God.

And here is the good news: that Christ died for your sins and offers you the gift of Salvation. John 3:16

You see, you have a problem with God: He is Holy, and you are a sinner. You have millions of sins on your record and these sins must be paid for (sins are acts and thoughts that break God’s 10 Commandments). You can pay for them by being in Hell forever, or you can accept the gift of having your debt paid by someone else. This someone else was Jesus Christ. Romans 3: 22-24 He paid the debt of our sins for us by dying on the cross. But, gifts have to be accepted before they become our gift. You don’t have to accept God’s Gift of Salvation; no one is forcing you to take it.

But, the good news is that when you accept God’s Gift of Salvation you become a child of God:

John 1:12 - clearly teach this. Notice the “Believe” and “Receive” words.

Romans 10: 9-10– gives the content of what we believe and receives.

Revelations 3:20– clearly shows that when we invite Christ into our hearts, He does come in.

The whole spiritual transaction is clear in John 3: 1-8.

So, right here and now, an invitation is being offered to you: believe that Jesus is God and that He died for you – paying for your sins with His own blood; receive Him into your heart by asking Him to come into your heart, take your burden of sin away, and to make you a child of God, and to enable you to live for Him the rest of your life.

When this spiritual transaction takes place, your sinful record is wiped clean in heaven; God declares you as totally forgiven and the debt is paid in full, you are born again by His Holy Spirit coming into your heart; you become a child of God; and you can live for the Lord down here, and be assured of a place in His Heavenly Home when He takes all of His children out of here – someday soon.

This is not only survival, but it is also Victory. 1 Corinthians 15:54-57

You need to do several things:

1. Pray right now to receive God’s Gift of Salvation
2. Thank the Lord for saving you and making you His Child.
3. In prayer, ask the Holy Spirit (who is now within your inner person) to begin guiding you into the truth and into the life-style of a child of God. (Colossians 2:6) (See John 14:26 and 16:13) (I Corinthians 2:12) and (Romans 8:14)
4. As a new (baby) person you need to feed and grow Spiritually.
1. Read the Bible daily – I Peter 2:2-3, II Timothy 2:15
2. Make a daily time of Prayer – John 16:24, I John 5:14-15
3. Whatever the Lord tells you to do Obey – John 14:21 John 15:10,14
4. Begin going to a good church (one that really teaches the Bible as God’s word and that is honesty loving on people) – Hebrews 10:23-25
